I re-read your question--and the way you worded it has me worried. What did you mean when you said "...when you mailed in my return...."? Was that a typo----or were you confused? Did you think TurboTax mailed your tax return to the IRS? TurboTax does not mail your tax return for you. You have to print it, sign it and mail it yourself. If you did not do that, your tax return has never been filed.
