After you file
@legalassistmom No one in this user forum is going to go out on a limb and promise that your daughter's amended return will be processed in time for her to receive a stimulus check this year. Mailed returns have been piled up in trailers for months, and the IRS is just beginning to dig through them. Under "normal" conditions it takes at least four months for an amended return to be processed, and right now they are taking much longer. The only way you will know anything about the amended return is by watching the IRS site for amended returns to see if the IRS has even opened the envelope it was in.
"I sent in a amended 1040 X over 14 weeks ago" That part is confusing. Who amended--you, your daughter, or both of you?
If you amended too--- that is two separate amended returns that have to be processed in order for your daughter to get a stimulus check.
We all want our children to get that money if they qualify for it, of course. But the chances of it happening this year are realistically not good. And --you do not want us to tell you this-- but it is an advance credit and she CAN get it on her tax return next year if it does not work out in 2020.

Not sure what you mean by the "extra $700" -- that did not make sense. Her income tax refund is completely separate from the $1200 stimulus amount. When and if she gets the stimulus it should be for the $1200. Not sure what $500 you were referring to--but guessing that is what her income tax refund should be.
"explain to me how you feel ....." What anyone trying to answer you "feels" is irrelevant. We do not answer your questions based on how we feel. We try to give you the best answers we can give you based on the facts and what we know about how taxes and the IRS work.
