TurboTax never receives information about a return that you filed after you filed it. And TT will certainly not update about anything regarding a mailed return. Amended returns must be mailed. TT does not know and will never know if you put a Form 1040X into the mail. The IRS does not share any information with TurboTax after you file the return.
