After you file
Real people are here. It does not seem that you sought help here in the user forum--there are only two posts under your username info79. The other one was an "add-on" to an existing thread. It seems you had trouble e-filing at the last minute and had to mail your return.
That can happen. There are some rejections that occur due to "un-fixable" reasons--like the duplicate use of a Social Security number. When that happens, the only way to file the return is to print, sign and mail it. Rejections come from the IRS--not TurboTax.
When you use TurboTax to prepare your tax return, the fee is for using the software to prepare the return. There is not an extra fee for e-filing nor is there a guarantee that you will be able to e-file. The fee is the same whether you e-file or mail the return in an envelope.
The only possible e-file fee you may have incurred would be a state e-file fee of $24.99 if you used desktop (CD/download) software. With desktop software there is a fee to e-file the state return. If you have a billing issue regarding that state e-file fee, you should contact customer support for help. It should be easier to get through now that the filing deadline has passed. Use the word "billing" -- not "refund."
