@KSc4 The IRS says typically 9 out of 10 returns will be processed within 21 days.  I know it's frustrating to be that 1 out of 10, but that is why they don't address it specifically.  All they would say is that you are the 1 out of 10 that is not processed within 21 days.  

 

I am only answering from my experience from my own clients.  Even if you are the 1 out of 10 it generally doesn't take this long, but we are in strange times and with the world the way it is.  I know the additional processing requires human eyes on the return and since they are not functioning at full capacity, that is what it causing the delay.  I'm sorry for your frustration.  I know it's not the answer you wanted, but at least it is an answer.
