@Chees "faxed to the IRS" What did you fax? Faxing is not a way to file a tax return. You either e-file a tax return or you mail it in an envelope. Do you mean a paid preparer sent in an amended return for you? If a paid preparer helped you, what are you seeking from TurboTax? And---did that preparer explain to you that it normally takes about 4 months for the IRS to process an amended tax return? It is taking longer now, because right now the IRS is too busy processing tax returns and issuing stimulus checks in the middle of a pandemic to even open their mail.
