After you file

TurboTax does not send you a copy of your do-it-yourself tax return.  You have to print it out for yourself if you want a hard copy.  And as for knowing if the IRS received your payment---your own bank/credit card records are your proof of payment.  TurboTax never knows if, when or how you paid your tax due.    When you look at your TT account and see "tax due"--that is because it is showing you the result of the tax return you prepared using the software.  The IRS does not provide feedback to TurboTax after you file your tax return.

You say you know the money was taken from your account.  What else do you need?  That is your "receipt" to prove you paid the IRS.  The IRS does not send you a receipt.
