I checked the IRS portal and my banking info was x'd out w/the last 4 of my social. But it had deposit date for today. I had signed up for text alerts and when I got up, I had a text saying that I had a deposit for $2400.00. But just for good measure before I started trying to spend, I send a text to 83854 for a balance inquiry. Just text "Bal" to that number and it'll text you the balance on your card. The money was there! Anyone telling you if your portal info has x's you won't be getting it on the card is full of it. The app and the site are down but that text method is working.
