How do you know that the IRS is holding your refund if you never received anything from them?

When you log into your TurboTax Online account, your filing status should be displayed on your homepage. You can also use our e-file status lookup tool to get your current status.

You can also check your refund status directly through the IRS using these links: Where’s My Refund on IRS.gov or the IRS mobile app, IRS2Go to check your status.

I had talked ti irs on one occasion and lady said irs has a hold on taxes intil i send in 5he two forms in bye mail or bye fax but never received the notice abd now i can not get any info from any one wdid

Everything is basically on hold right now until the IRS can get back to business as usual. Continue to track your refund as things will be up and running soon we are certain.
