We do not really understand what you did, or what the other person did. But if you filed a tax return and it was accepted, it would be impossible to file another tax return--it would be rejected. Or did the other person prepare an amended tax return on a Form 1040X and then did you sign it and mail it in? We need details--right now this is clear as mud.
