Accepted just means the IRS accepted your return for processing. They verified a couple basic things to know it was from you. Once the IRS accepts your return then Turbo Tax is done with their part. The IRS doesn't update or tell Turbo Tax anything about your refund. After the IRS accepts your refund they process it. Then they approve it. You don't get any emails or notice when they approve or send your refund. TurboTax gives you an estimated date for receiving your refund based on a 21 day average from your date of acceptance, but it can take longer.
