The IRS issues most refunds in about 21 days, although some returns take more time to review. If it has been more than 21 days since your return was accepted, you can call the IRS directly to check on your refund status.

@Nasa210 If you were showing Tax Topic 152 simply means your return is still in the processing stage and topics and bars disappearing mean the process is moving along.

The general timeline of e-filed returns is: Transmission > Acceptance > Processing > Approval > Refund.

The IRS started processing returns later than in prior years and as such has a backlog to work through. They also just recently started processing returns claiming EIC and/or ACTC.

During processing, the government reviews your refund. During the review process, they look for math errors on your return (extremely rare in TurboTax) and they also check if you owe back taxes, unpaid child support, or other debts.

If they need to make any corrections, they may offset (reduce) your refund. In some cases, the correction might even increase your refund.

Once that part's done, the government approves your refund, which means it's ready to be deposited or sent.  At that point the IRS site will update with a direct deposit date.

Some 2019 federal refunds are delayed due to the PATH Act

Unfortunately that’s not entirely accurate info. I’ve been accepted since 01/31, I’ve had the accepted bar on WMR with tax topic 152 since I was accepted. I received a letter from the IRS this past Saturday, Feb 29 and WMR still has one bar says it’s processing with tax topic 152.

Same here. Accepted the 29th of January. Still waiting, no update. My sister in law filed after me and has already received hers.. Very frustrating.

Since your tax refund is taking longer than the typical 21 days to receive, see this FAQ regarding  What to do if it's been over 21 days.

Keep in mind, in an attempt to protect individual tax filers, the IRS enacted the PATH act. This may be causing a slight delay for many tax filers.  See this FAQ for more information regarding  Where's my Refund.

It’s cute how the Turbo specialists keep saying the same thing. I’ve never had to wait this long EVER.  I’m still in shock that this oversight was all because TT never asked me to input the info from my 1095A. I knew better

But to answer everyone’s question....NO. I have yet to receive a deposit date. If you were directing that towards me lol. Hoping and praying it won’t take very long for them to process considering it’s already been processing this long and all they needed was to very my health insurance.

I know. All they said was sorry. I'm like well can I get a refund of the money I paid? I paid to have a service so I can get my refund quick and their system dropped the ball and didn't prompt to have the 1095A entered. This has caused a huge delay. Now I gotta wait for IRS to fix my stuff in order to get my refund which can take up to 8 wks.
