Where your refund goes depends on what you selected as your method to receive it. If you did not provide direct deposit information, you should expect a paper check. See our FAQ regarding entering the wrong direct deposit information which includes information about receiving a paper check. In order to see what you selected as your method to receive your refund follow the instructions below:
If you have already filed your return, you would:
- Log into your Turbo Tax online account.
- Click on "All My Returns" or "Download/Print Return (PDF).
- Select to open the PDF file.
- Search your return for "direct deposit" and tab down to veiw your direct deposit information submitted with your return.
If you have not filed your return, you would:
- Log into your Turbo Tax online account.
- Click "File" on the left tool bar.
- Follow the prompts until you get to the page with your direct deposit information.
