After you file

Is that according to the ESTIMATED date given by TurboTax or by the IRS on Where's my Refund?

What TurboTax shows you is just an estimate based on the fact that many refunds are issued within 21 days of the return being accepted.

The IRS does not update TurboTax on the actual issue date of a specific refund.

If the date came from the IRS website Where's my Refund, you'll need to contact them to verify that they had the correct information for the direct deposit, such as routing and account number and that the deposit was going into an account with your name on it.

Here is information on how you can reach the IRS by phone for further assistance:

If all of the information that the IRS has is correct, you will need to contact your bank and find out when the deposit will post.   If the bank has for some reason returned the deposit to the IRS, the IRS will then print a paper check and mail it to you at the address you provided on the return.
