After you file
Your refund can take anywhere from a few days to 3 weeks for your return to go from accepted to approved. If you expect a refund, you may check your refund status as well as your e-filing status by using the link below: https://ttlc.intuit.com/questions/1908859-how-do-i-check-my-e-file-status
We know you'd like your refund as fast as possible, but we have no control over how fast the IRS or your state returns your money to you. We're unable to track down, research, or expedite your refund, because those actions are only done by the government--you'll have to contact the IRS or your state tax office for help.
Due to the PATH Act, some Federal refunds will be delayed. If you claimed the Earned Income Credit (EIC) or Additional Child Tax Credit, then you can expect to hear something around the end of February. Please see the TurboTax FAQ below for more information: https://ttlc.intuit.com/replies/5556415
