The 1040-X became available on the IRS website near the end of January. TurboTax is not able to load the form into the software until the final version has been approved. Once it's loaded, then the team must go through testing to ensure that the form is working properly and free of bugs. For this reason, the form is always released in TurboTax a few weeks after the IRS publishes the approved version.
