My Fed taxes were filed on the 9 th will I get a notice when the IRS has received them

Yes, TurboTax will send you an email when the IRS either accepts or rejects your federal tax return.

Make sure you check your spam or junk mail folder on your email account.

The IRS will not begin to accept/reject returns until the 27th of January--so you have to wait.
