After you file
Was it rejected? Does your account say that it was rejected--or did you get a rejection email? Or did you get a letter from the state that says you did not PAY the state--that is not the same as not filing.
A state tax due can only by paid by mailing the state a check or money order or by using a credit/debit card on the state's web site. You cannot pay the state from your federal refund.
If in fact your state return really was not filed at all then you need to print it, sign it and mail it in.
