Printed would indicate that your tax return was not e-filed.
Use this TurboTax website to check the status of an e-filed return and if it was either accepted, rejected or No Record Found - https://turbotax.intuit.com/tax-tools/efile-status-lookup/
If the status is either rejected or No Record Found then the tax return was not e-filed. You can now only print and mail the 2017 tax return, it can no longer be e-filed.
Download the PDF of your tax return. Print, sign, date and mail the tax return to the IRS. Include with the tax return any forms W-2 and 1099 which have taxes withheld. If you have a tax refund there are no penalties for filing a return after the due date.
To access your current or prior year tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the userID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/
Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and on the section Your tax returns & documents click on Show. Click on the Year and Click on Download/print return (PDF)
