After you file

First, understand that this is a user-to-user forum. While TTX employees do "check in" to the forum occasionally during the non filing season, it's not common.

As it stands right now, the online version of TurboTax 2017 is shut down permanently and forever and shall remain that way as they prepare the system for the 2018 tax filing season. So you have no choice but to use the CD version of TurboTax to complete your 2017 return. Then be aware the IRS has closed e-filing for the 2017 tax season. So you will have to print, sign and mail your return to the IRS now. Same holds true for a state return if you are required to file one, did not e-file one yet, or if your e-filed state return was rejected by the state and you didn't get it fixed and re-filed electronically on time.

Now if you call TurboTax Telephone support during normal business hours (5am-5pm *PACIFIC* time, Monday through Friday) they will most likely put a copy of whatever flavor of TurboTax 2017 you already paid for in the online version, into your TurboTax account so you can download it and install it on your computer, at no additional charge. They will also be able to assist you with downloading your .tax2017 file from your online account to your computer, so that you can complete it with the Cd version of TurboTax 2017.

Unless something has changed, the below guidance to contact TurboTax Telephone support doesn't require voice prompting, but does require you to make selections by pressing the appropriate number keys on  your telephone. But you will **NOT** be given a phone number to call during the hours when telephone support is closed. So don't bother trying during non-business hours.
