You can amend your tax return with TurboTax if your return was prepared elsewhere. First, you need to recreate your return by entering information in exactly the way as how it was filed. To make the program think you filed your return, go through the file a return interview and choose file by mail.
Then, go through the amendment process. ( Federal Taxes / Other Situations / Other Tax Forms --Amend a return and select Start )
