After you file
You should never ask to receive your direct deposit into a bank account that you don't own. In most cases, the bank will reject it, which means the IRS will mail a paper check to your address that you used on your tax return, in another 3-4 weeks.
And, if the bank does accept the deposit, it's basically considered a gift from you to the other person and there is almost no legal way to force them to turn the money over to you if they don't want to.
