After you file

Not sure what you mean by "in the system"?

1) IF you logged into your special W-2 download page and imported it...then it's not really a good idea to file until you have the paper forms to check the entries......there have been instances of garbled imports.  File without the paper forms is up to you to take a chance on.

2) if you mean that you transferred in your tax file from last year, and it contains the same employer W-2 that you used last year, but you didn't specifically import that W-2...then you cannot do anything because that W-2 is an EMPTY Form !

3) we have hundreds of people here who have already filed, but are now begging for information about how add-in some W-2 or 1099-INT or 1099-DIV form that they "just received" and they did not know they were getting (supposedly).  Lots of forms are still arriving at people's homes.....many Financial Institutions will not be sending out some of these forms until mid-Feb.  You should not file before the 3rd week of Feb (Opinion).
