IF you file a tax return....then late amended your tax return.
1) The state processes your Original ax return first...you got a refund for that....and ah is usually done quite quickly
2) Then you amended and mailed it in later? That can take the state a few months to process. They usually mail that refund to you...IF...IF the amendment resulted in an increased refund. The state Amendment you prepared should have included the refund you got in #1....if it didn't, then the state may have made some administrative adjustments to get it all balanced out. And they should send you a letter explaining it all in the next few weeks
