The question is why  she have a tax liability when she puts in the value of her IRA on Dec 31, 2018

@jerreethea1 Please ask your own question in your own thread.  You are adding on to someone else's completely unrelated question.  We do not know who "she" is or what you are trying to do.  You will need to explain.  One question--does "she" have a 1099R to enter?
