Delete the state return and then add it back again. This way perhaps the information will correctly populate in the state return from the federal return. If using TT Online.
- log into Turbo Tax
- Go to state in the left pane of your screen and when you get to the status of your state returns, delete California. After it is deleted, add it back and see if this clears that error.
