Get your taxes done using TurboTax

@SheilaloveB50 The only way to find out if someone claimed you as a dependent is to e-file a tax return of your own and see if it is accepted or rejected.   The IRS will not accept an e-file from you if you have already been claimed as someone else's dependent.   But even if someone claimed you, the IRS will not tell you who claimed you.   Do you actually have a "suspect" in mind?   Is there someone who can claim you as a dependent?

If you cannot be claimed as someone else's dependent then you can file tax returns in order to seek the stimulus checks if you have not received them.   In order to get the 1st and/or 2nd stimulus payment you have to file a 2020 return---which cannot be e-filed.   A 2020 return can only be filed by mail.

To get the 3rd EIP payment you have to file a 2021 return---which can be e-filed until October 15, 2022.   Use the recovery rebate credit in Federal Review.  If the e-file is rejected you can still file your return---but print, sign and mail it and let the IRS sort out the issue of whether someone claimed you.
