If you said yes and entered anything on the 1095-A screen at all but you needed to really say no then you must return to the spot of entry to remove the unneeded 1095-A ...
To get back to this section:
- Once in TurboTax and your return is opened go to the Federal section;
- Click on the Deductions and Credits
- Scroll to Medical
- Then click on Affordable Care Act (Form 1095-A) and click on "Revisit"
- Answer the first question "Yes" even if the answer should be no and click Continue
- On the next page, DELETE the 1095-A form you started in error and click Continue and only then can you answer NO to that question to continue.
- Click Continue and this will bring you back to the Deductions and Credit screen.
