- Once you send your return to the IRS, TurboTax has no access to your information. You'll see the debit in your account when the IRS withdraws the money from your account.
- The amount to be withdrawn is on Form 1040, Line 37 Amount you owe.
Funds are usually withdrawn on the payment date you specify in TurboTax, assuming your e-filed return has already been accepted (received) by the IRS. If that date falls on a weekend or federal holiday, the funds are typically withdrawn the next business day.
To see the account, routing number and date for the direct debit, it should be printed on your return.
