You can enter the federal income tax withheld in TurboTax Online:
- In the Federal > Wages & Income > Investment Income section of your return, click Start/Revisit next to Stocks, Cryptocurrency, Mutual Funds, Bonds, Other (1099-B)
- Edit the transaction that has federal income tax withheld.
- Select the box I have other boxes on my 1099-B to enter. You will find it under Box 1e Cost or other basis. Enter the tax withheld in Box 4.
