Your income would be $0 if your only income was foreign income are you were able to exclude 100% of it under the foreign earned income exclusion.
You can’t e-file with $0 income. You can either file by mail or make an adjustment so you are showing $1 of income.
One way to do this is to change Foreign Earned Income and Exclusion to you have $1.
- Type foreign income in Search in the top right
- Select Jump to foreign income and go through the questions again
