I have the IRS transcript from 2020, is it still possible that IRS don't have my AGI in data base?
I am afraid to mess up things. any more thoughts?
Paper filed 2020 tax return were taking months for the IRS to complete the processing of those returns. So there is good possibility the 2020 return was processed late in 2021 or early 2022 which would cause the 2020 AGI to not be entered in the IRS database.
Using a 0 for the 2020 AGI will not mess anything up. It is only used to e-file a tax return. If you were to print and mail the tax return the 2020 AGI would not even be used.
