To report the sale of an inherited property, you would enter it by clicking the following:
- Federal
- Income
- Show More next to Investment Income
- Start next to Stocks, Cryptocurrency, Mutual Funds, Bonds, Other (1099-B)
- Then walk through the questions and enter that you sold a property and then answer that it was inherited property.
- Follow the steps to continue through until all information has been entered.
