As I mentioned in the post. I have Year 2021 installed and activated...
However, when you use 2021 to file 2021 return, it needs me to go back 5 years for a number in a particular line on a particular form ( for example, energy credit, donation carry over etc)
This force me to start my 2020, 2019, 2018, 2017, 2016 version to open the corresponding years return !!!
However when I start those years version now. I am FORCED to reactivate them !!! --- This is the problem and this is a change !!! Last year, you are able to start previous years software !!
Calling support is so frustrating. I have case number [phone number removed] --- they just can not do anything, they do not have a code !!! Your company does not save my code either for Activation Record.
In the end, they just hang up and mark the case "Resolved", "Closed"
Leave frustrated customer like me NOT able to open previous years return and NOT able to find those number in those lines of those forms!!!
Please do not get mixed. Nothing to Do with year 2021 version ! But you do need to start your previous years numbers to finish the 2021 return
