First-time TT user so no prior data to guide me. (Well, I had some dummy placeholder data in 2020 that was just enough to screw things up.)
I had to "trigger" the generation of the option to enter an overpayment since I was too literal when the opening questions asked if I had "received a refund." (I assumed that meant a check and a 1099-G.) I had not; I applied an overpayment to the following year's taxes -- but I guess that is still a "refund."
