I checked the IRA/SEP/SIMPLE box when I entered your Form 1099-R. I tried just now unchecking it and the amount owed goes up a A LOT.
Since I did use Box 14 of the 8606 when I entered the basis, then it seems I did everything correctly. Which is good since I filed a few days ago.
