@DAVE167 You added on to a 2 year old post. What are your details? Did you install the Desktop program? From the CD or the download? You can install Turbo Tax on 5 computers. If you downloaded the program you can download it the same way to the new computer.
You need the .tax2021 file from the old computer to open in the new computer. After you get the program installed the first thing to do before you open your tax return is to update the program and install any state programs you had. Then open your file. So you first might need to start a fake return to be able to download the state program (go to File-New Tax Return).
Then go to FILE -Open and find your return.

And what extra charge did you pay? You don't have to select the optional services. In the Desktop program it is easy to click on the wrong button and get charged for extra things.
