If your parents filed jointly, there should have been one Letter 6475 to each parent. Each letter reports half the total amount received. If your family received $5,600 total, $2,800 would have been reported on one letter to your father, and the other $2,800 would have been reported on a letter to your other parent.
If your family did not receive a second Letter 6475, both parents can check what they received if they make an account with the IRS.
The third economic impact payment paid $1,400 for each eligible individual, including dependents of any age.
