In TurboTax Online Deluxe version, report a donation of a vehicle on an IRS Form 1098-C:
- Go to Federal / Wages & Income / Deductions & Credits / Charitable Donations / Donations to Charity in 2021.
- Click Start / Revisit to the right.
- At the screen Do you want to enter your donations? Click Yes.
- Enter the name of the Donee. Click Add to the left of Items.
- At the screen How do You Want to Value Your Donations?, click I'll value them.
- Enter the date of the donation. Continue.
- At the screen Choose a category for this donation, select Car, boat or airplane (may be reported on Form 1098-C).
- At the screen Tell us about the items you gave, enter the information requested.
- Subsequent screens ask you to enter information for IRS Form 1098-C.
