If you are filing just to collect the stimulus payment, you will simply take the following steps:
- Create an account
- Fill out your personal info
- Enter $1 for taxable interest (this is found in the income section under 1099-INT)
- Continue through your return until the federal review section.
- Enter $0 for the amount received (BE SURE YOU DID NOT RECEIVE THE STIMULUS FIRST)
- continue through to submit your return.
