Thank you for your quick response. I am talking about those who made a 3 repayment options on taxes. I did the first payment in 2020 but I didn't get a 1099-R in 2021. Therefore, If I click NO on the question "Did you get a 1099R in 2021?" but I did receive a distribution from my retirement plan in 2019. TurboTax is telling me that " You need to review this later since TurboTax doesn't have that form ready. If anybody in this forum knows about this, please let me know, thanks!!!
Are you using one of the TurboTax online editions?
If so, on the screen Have you ever taken a disaster distribution before 2021? you should answer Yes since you had a distribution in 2020 due to Covid-19 and you selected to spread the distribution over 3 years.
On the following screen Did you take a disaster distribution at any time between 2018 and 2020? you should answer Yes since this particular question directly relates to a Covid-19 distribution and the need to report 1/3 of the amount distributed.
The following screen states You'll need to revisit this area
The new IRS Form 8915-F is used to report the 2020 distribution which was spread over 3 years.
The Form 8915-F, Qualified Disaster Retirement Plan Distributions and Retirements for tax year 2021 is estimated to be available in TurboTax on 03/31/2022. (possibly sooner)
