All you need to do is delete the entry for the 1099-INT. To delete the 1099-INT
- Open TurboTax if not already open
- Go to Federal
- Click on Income and Expense
- Scroll to Interest on 1099-INT
- Click on Review
- Next screen answer Yes
- Next screen click on the Trash Can next to the 1099-INT
This removes the 1099-INT from your return.
