TurboTax will add the excess social security tax withheld and add it as credit in line 11 of Schedule 3.
Please review your W-2 entries and take a look at your tax return.

- Open or continue your return in TurboTax.
- In the left menu, select Tax Tools and then Tools.
- In the pop-up window Tool Center, choose tax summary
- Review 1040 on the right side
- Go through schedule 3

- Switch to forms mode
- Look at line 11 in Schedule 3
