Get your taxes done using TurboTax
If you are not a US Citizen but you are a US Resident then you should file a 1040. There isn't really an elderly tax form, other than if you use the paper form, the print is larger. The 1040SR does not report anything different than the regular 1040. If you are using TurboTax and see the 1040SR as part of your return, you can go ahead and continue to file and finalize your return.
However, if you are a Non Resident Alien, you would need to file the 1040NR which is available through Sprintax.com. TurboTax does not support the 1040NR return.
