Get your taxes done using TurboTax

No. The stimulus money goes to the person who can claim the dependent as Champ @Bsch4477 says.

If you claimed your son – and your were both eligible for the stimulus – and you did not get a check – then the amount will be added to your tax refund as a Recovery Rebate Credit.

When you say you did not get the stimulus, are you speaking about the check or the tax refund?

if you didn't claim the credit for your son on your original tax return you will need to file a Form 1040-X, Amended U.S. Individual Income Tax Return, to claim it. The IRS will not calculate the 2021 Recovery Rebate Credit for you if you did not enter any amount on your original tax return, or you entered $0.
