This is mainly a user community forum. I don't know what TurboTax Support would tell you if you phoned them, but I would not be confident they would extend the discount deadline. If you want to talk to them:

But here's what you can do instead to be sure you get the discount. The "file by" date is really a "pay by" date. You can pay in advance to lock in your price.
- Open your return, if not already open.
- Click in the left menu column on TAX TOOLS.
- Then choose PRINT CENTER.
- Then choose "Print/save/preview this year's return." (you don't really have to print)
- Choose to PAY NOW. It may try to upsell you some add-on features like MAX, which you can refuse. Eventually it will prompt for credit/debit card. You will need to pay upfront. Do not choose to pay later out of a Federal refund.
ADDENDUM: If you also have a state return, then to get the state return discount you'd also need to pay for the state return in advance, too.
