@JRS7 Did you check your bank account to see how much you actually got? Did you file a Joint return last year? If you had 1,400 on line 30 for her and the IRS already sent it they will automatically take it off your return and reduce your refund or send to a bill for tax due. It will delay your return. People have been getting the second letter after they filed. If you get it you do not have to amend.
