Per Lisa's TurboTax link: "If Part II Box A is checked and you are eligible for the 85% Waiver, your return cannot be electronically filed. You must print and file your return by mail."
The above applies to me, but I successfully filed my return electronically Saturday night. This was after I clicked on "Explain" or "QuickZoom" (can't remember what it was called) on line 17 of Form 2210. This opened the "Explanation Statement" where I typed in "85% Waiver," saved my return, and resubmitted it. Received IRS approval within two hours.
