The IRS does have security measures set for online transcripts and their call volume is heavy this time of year. If you do not have a cell phone the IRS allows you to get a copy of your transcript in the mail.

It takes 5-10 days to receive your transcript in the mail and there is not a charge (for this version) from the IRS.
