Ahhhh............ here's some instructions
Install TurboTax from Your Hard Drive (Windows) (intuit.com)
Except you would copy the CD to the Flash drive, and then from the flash drive to the laptop.
Again though...make sure you remove the flash drive before starting up the installation.
I don't think you need the whole CD, but since I don't know which files are really critical, it wouldn't hurt as long as you have room....and could delete those files after full installation and update is completed.
